In iOS 14, Apple introduced the pinning feature, enabling users to keep track of conversations and threads in Messenger by pinning favourite conversations. If you have an iPhone or iPad running iOS 14 or later, you can now pin up to 9 messages on both devices.

Here’s how you can pin a message or a thread on your iPhone and iPad.

  2. Tap Edit (top-left of your screen).
  3. Select Edit Pins
  4. Tap the yellow pin icon – it’s to the right of the conversation that you want to pin. You can select multiple messages.
  5. Tap Done

Your pinned messages will appear at the top of the screen. They’ll no longer appear with the rest of your messages.
